Estudiantes de secundaria realizarán manifestación este lunes contra pruebas FARO
El movimiento iniciará en la Plaza de la Democracia y culminará en las instalaciones del MEP.
El Movimiento Estudiantil de Secundaria (MEDSE) se manifestará este lunes en contra de las pruebas Fortalecimiento de Aprendizajes para la Renovación de Oportunidades (FARO) y por las malas decisiones tomadas por el Ministerio de Educación (MEP).
El movimiento iniciará a las 8:30 a.m. en la Plaza de la Democracia, en el centro de San José, y culminará en las instalaciones del MEP.
Alfaro también hizo un llamado a los colegiales que se encuentran en las zonas rurales a protestar.
“Dejaremos un documento que expresa toda la problemática vivida por toda la población estudiantil y las posibles soluciones al caso, además, en el caso de las zonas alejadas se les invita a participar de forma regional a las afueras de su institución o en un punto en común de su comunidad”, agregó la joven.
El viernes 12 de noviembre el Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) aplicó a estudiantes de 5° grado de escuela el cuestionario denominado “Factores Asociados” como parte de las pruebas FARO.
Se trata de cuestionarios de más de 600 ítems en los cuales se le pregunta a los estudiantes por los factores sociales y educativos que podrían afectar su desempeño y resultados en las pruebas FARO.
La controversia surgió por la presencia de preguntas ajenas al campo académico. Por ejemplo, en el capítulo llamado Tronco Común, se les realizaron preguntas sobre el entorno familiar o socioeconómico como el tipo de material del techo, o pisos de la vivienda, los servicios que posee el hogar, los bienes que poseen y si la casa posee espacios exteriores
Según informaron varios padres de familia en redes sociales la ejecución de estos cuestionarios generó un agotamiento extremo en los alumnos quienes duraron hasta cinco horas para contestarlo.
Lo acontecido con el cuestionario es investigado por la Fiscalía por el presunto delito de violación de datos personales.
