Diputada Marulin Azofeifa fue amenazada con arma de fuego en Turrúcares
Parte policial indica que le dispararon al vehículo que transportaba a la congresista, pero ella aseguró que solo la amenazaron con un arma de fuego.
La diputada independiente del bloque Nueva República, Marulin Azofeifa Trejos, fue amenazada con un arma de fuego por un hombre en Turrúcares de Alajuela.
La legisladora comentó que regresaba de Liberia cuando a la altura de la ruta 27, que comunica San José con Caldera, un hombre la amenazó y luego se dio a la fuga.
Según recoge una nota del periódico La Nación, el parte policial indica que le dispararon al vehículo que transportaba a la congresista, pero ella aseguró que solo la amenazaron con un arma de fuego.
Detenido
El Ministerio de Seguridad Pública (MSP) confirmó la tarde de este lunes que el sospechoso de amenazar a la diputada, de apellido Esquivel, fue detenido.
De acuerdo con la entidad, la diputada transitaba por la ruta 27 y al cambiar de carril casi colisiona contra otro vehículo.
“El sujeto del vehículo adelanta y, aparentemente, habría disparado contra el automóvil donde viajaba (la diputada). Dichosamente no hay personas heridas; sin embargo, ya Fuerza Pública detuvo en las cercanías del parque de Turrúcares a un sospechoso”, informó Seguridad
Además, las autoridades indicaron que dentro del vehículo del detenido encontraron una pistola calibre 357 y dos cargadores.
El caso permanece en investigación.
