En plena misa sacerdote explota contra el Gobierno: “Usa la pandemia para sus intereses políticos”
Cura en Tacares de Grecia responsabilizó al Gobierno por el aumento de casos covid-19 en el país. “Ellos mismos fomentaron que la Semana Santa fuera una semana de vacaciones”, dijo.
Ante el aumento de casos de Covid-19 en el país, el jueves anterior el Gobierno anunció el cierre de comercios no esenciales en 45 cantones de la Región Central a partir del próximo lunes 3 de mayo y hasta el domingo 9.
“No podrán operar: Tiendas en general, tiendas por departamentos, los salones de belleza, barberías y estéticas, iglesias, gimnasios, entre otros” indica el comunicado publicado por Presidencia.
Los cierres han causado el enojo e indignación en varios sectores y la comunidad católica no es la excepción por eso el sacerdote José Alfonso Benavides González de la Parroquia Corazón de Jesús ubicada en Tacares de Grecia, Alajuela, expresó su molestia ante la medida y aseguró que el Gobierno utiliza la pandemia para sus intereses políticos.
“Ya me cansé de mirar un Ministerio de Salud impotente y me cansé de mirar una Conferencia Episcopal que no tiene pantalones. Yo me pregunto primero, ¿será que tenemos la misma guía que manejan las instituciones gubernamentales para decir el número de casos que se han dado durante las misas? Y si ha habido, ¿cuántas llevamos? Si se han dado transmisiones comunitarias, ¿cuántas llevamos? Si se ha facilitado la transmisión, ¿cuántas llevamos? ¿Cuántos casos por motivo de covid se lleva en un templo católico?”, cuestionó el sacerdote.
“Sí padre pero es que estamos con número alto de contagios vea que no se regula, vea el lugar que está Alajuela. Sí, no hay problema pero ¿por qué siguen abiertos hoteles, cabinas, escuelas, colegios?”, agregó.
“¿No es que el número de contagios que se están dando en escuelas y colegios asusta y los mismos maestros ya han hecho su denuncia que por favor frenen la situación? Y las iglesias simplemente cierran una semana”, pregunto el sacerdote.
El presbítero incluso reclamó la pasividad con la que la Conferencia Episcopal de Costa Rica acepta los lineamientos del Ejecutivo.
“Y el comunicado que mandó su excelencia monseñor Garita presidente de la Conferencia Episcopal, simplemente dice nos debemos salvar todos juntos, nadie por aparte y como iglesia tenemos que ser obedientes, mi palabra es ¿obediencia a quien? ¿A un Gobierno que se ha valido de la situación de la pandemia para sus intereses personales partidistas políticos?”, manifestó.
El sacerdote responsabilizó al Gobierno de Carlos Alvarado por el escandaloso aumento de casos covid-19 en el país.
«Cómo es posible que ya hemos llegado a este número de contagiados porque el Gobierno mismo fue el que fomento que la Semana Santa fuera una semana de vacaciones, ¿o me equivoco? ¿Quien fue que promovió que ahora estuviesemos haciendo frente al número de camas de hospitalizados internados? Y ellos simplemente bajo un lema ‘vacaciones con responsabilidad’ y ahora simplemente es fácil decir cierran los templos católicos. Estoy notando que las pulgas se les pegan a los perros más flacos y no a los gordos”, finalizó el cura.
