Maduro anuncia que comprará 10 millones de vacunas rusas
El presidente de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, anunció el domingo que su gobierno acordó con Rusia la adquisición de 10 millones de vacunas Sputnik V, tras la reciente visita a ese país de una delegación encabezada por su vicepresidenta.

«Hemos garantizado más de 10 millones de vacunas para el primer trimestre del próximo año, aspiramos, que entre enero, febrero, marzo, abril o mayo por lo menos 10 millones de vacunas, y también Venezuela va a fabricar la vacuna rusa en los laboratorios venezolanos”, dijo Maduro durante un acto en Caracas transmitido por la televisión gubernamental.

Según el mandatario, el viaje a Rusia de sus ministros tenía como objetivo principal «lograr los acuerdos para la vacuna”.
«Vamos a garantizar la producción de la vacuna y el suministro seguro a partir del mes de enero”, dijo la vicepresidenta venezolana, Delcy Rodríguez, presente en el acto.
El gobierno venezolano ha confirmado desde marzo, cuando la pandemia llegó al país, 96.933 contagios y 848 muertes. Las cifras son cuestionadas por la oposición y organizaciones no gubernamentales al considerar que existe un elevado subregistro.
