Tras varios allanamientos esta mañana, el OIJ logró desarticular banda dedicada a las estafas
Las autoridades lograron dar con tres importantes detenciones.
La mañana de este viernes 16 de diciembre, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) realizaron tres allanamientos, con el fin de desarticular una banda dedicada a las estafas telefónicas.
Según trascendió tras las operaciones realizadas en El Carmen de Goicoechea, Desamparados y la cárcel La Reforma en Alajuela, lograron dar con la detención de tres personas sospechosas de operar en el grupo al cual se le achacan al menos 12 denuncias por fraude informático.
Asimismo, las autoridades indicaron que las investigaciones por este caso iniciaron desde hace varios meses, tras algunas denuncias interpuestas por las personas afectadas.
Dicha banda estaría vinculada a la sustracción de al menos 150 millones de colones de las cuentas bancarias de los afectados, además, según trascendió las operaciones iniciaban desde la cárcel, donde un privado de libertad era quien contactaba a las víctimas haciéndose pasar por un funcionario de alguna entidad bancaria, con el objetivo de obtener la información confidencial, para que luego pasársela a las personas de la organización que trabajaban desde afuera y así realizar la limpia en las cuentas.
Con respecto a los sospechosos que operaban desde las afueras de la cárcel, al parecer también se encargaban de reclutar personas que prestaran sus cuentas bancarias para así tener un destino “limpio” para enviar el dinero robado, siendo estos mismos quienes retiraban el dinero y se los hacían llegar a ellos de alguna manera.
Con los allanamientos realizados las autoridades, además, de la detención de los sospechosos, también lograron dar con el decomiso de evidencia importante para las investigaciones de este caso.
