Tras un allanamiento autoridades detuvieron a joven sospechoso de matar a otro de una puñalada en Jacó
Los hechos se dieron el 11 de junio del 2022.
La mañana de este miércoles 11 de enero, al ser aproximadamente las 6:00am, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) de Garabito, dieron con la detención de un joven de apellidos Jiménez Duarte de 28 años, por ser el principal sospechoso de acabar con la vida de otro joven.
Dicha captura se dio mediante un allanamiento en el barrio Marañonal de Esparza, tras una investigación científica y técnica en la que los agentes del OIJ obtuvieron evidencias que ligan a Jiménez de manera directa con el mortal ataque.
El detenido es el principal sospechoso de matar a Daniel Alberto Soto Sánchez, de 24 años, esto cuando la víctima disfrutaba de un rato de esparcimiento con sus amigos en un bar ubicado en Jacó, la noche del 11 de junio del año anterior.
Según trascendió Soto habría defendido a uno de sus amigos cuando se dio una riña en ese lugar.
“De un momento a otro se produjo una riña en la que participó un grupo grande de personas y en determinado momento Soto sintió que lo punzaron en el abdomen”, había indicado el OIJ en junio pasado.
A la víctima, en un principio, lo habían llevado al hospital Monseñor Sanabria, en Puntarenas, pero debido a las complicaciones que presentaba, lo trasladaron al hospital San Juan de Dios, donde le dieron la salida días después.
Sin embargo, el joven volvió a ingresar al centro médico debido a que presentaba complicaciones y finalmente falleció el 29 de junio del 2022.
El detenido fue puesto en manos de la Fiscalía donde determinaran su situación jurídica.
