Tica de 73 años muere en accidente de tránsito en Estados Unidos; viajó para conocer Disney
Una familia oriunda del cantón josefino de Santa Ana enfrenta un gran dolor luego de que su viaje a Disney en Estados Unidos se convirtiera en una tragedia.
Según informó Telenoticias el sábado pasado la familia emocionada por disfrutar de unos días en los parques temáticos, partió hacia Orlando desde Miami. Sin embargo, en una fatídica noche, su viaje se vio truncado por un grave accidente automovilístico.
El vehículo familiar fue brutalmente impactado por detrás por otro automóvil, dejando a Leila Aguilar Acuña, de 73 años, gravemente herida.
A pesar de los esfuerzos médicos, Leila no pudo sobrevivir a las lesiones sufridas en el accidente, mientras que su esposo, Rafael Villegas, y sus dos hijos fueron trasladados de urgencia al hospital para recibir tratamiento por sus heridas.
“Yo iba manejando y cuando nos faltaba una hora para llegar sentimos un golpe fuerte porque un carro nos dio por detrás, dimos muchas vueltas y era como de película porque el vehículo no paraba de dar vueltas. Cuando pude salir a ver cómo estaban mis hijos y papás, mi mamá que iba en la última fila de asientos estaba prácticamente inconsciente”, comentó Víctor Villegas, hijo de la fallecida al noticiero de canal 7.
“El viaje era pasear por la zona, ir a visitar los parques, compras y lógicamente después devolvernos. El propósito era que mis papás nos acompañaran para pasear y disfrutar”, agregó Villegas.
Este viaje marcaba la primera vez que la familia viajaba junta a Estados Unidos, sin embargo, la tragedia dejó a la familia en estado de shock y dolor.
