Solo, en pañales y durmiendo sobre bolsas: así encontró la policía a un niño en San José
La Asociación Obras del Espíritu Santo asistió al pequeño de dos años.
Solito, en pañales y tomando una siesta sobre bolsas: así encontró la Policía Municipal de San José a un pequeño de poco más de dos años en barrio Cristo Rey la mañana de este viernes.
Marcelo Solano, director del cuerpo policial, indicó a Teletica.com que cuando los uniformados llegaron al lugar el niño no tenía compañía. Luego de indagar por la zona el padre del menor apareció.
“Esta es una historia que se repite, que tiene que ver con la tragedia de las familias venezolanas que van hacia el norte, en muchos casos con niños pequeños. En esta ocasión, se trató de un niño solo que estaba acostado sobre la acera, únicamente con sus pañales y no tenía ropa”, explicó Solano a la página web de canal 7.
“Durante la intervención y cuando se logra dar con el padre, informó que no tenía ropa porque la estaban lavando y necesitaban esperar que se secara para volvérsela a poner. La gente de Obras del Espíritu Santo intervino y estaban tratando de resolver la situación”, agregó.
“La capital ya no tenía niños en la calle, era un fenómeno que se había erradicado junto con diferentes instituciones del Estado. Sin embargo, luego de la pandemia apareció de nuevo este fenómeno, donde hemos encontrado familias que han tenido que dormir hasta cuatro noches en la calle mientras continúan su rumbo”, dijo Solano.
Tras el hallazgo, los oficiales de la Policía Municipal advirtieron al padre del niño que, en caso de repetirse la situación, se tomarían medidas y se informaría al Patronato Nacional de la Infancia (PANI).
