Señor atropellado por conductora que manejaba en estado de ebriedad, es el papá de un diputado
Los hechos se dieron la mañana del pasado sábado 15 de abril.
Este sábado 15 de abril, se reportó un accidente de tránsito en el sector de Santo Domingo de Heredia, esto 75 metros al norte de la Clínica del Seguro Social de la localidad.
Dicho incidente dejó un adulto mayor, identificado como Gilberto Campos Hernández, de 74 años, gravemente herido, luego de que fuera atropellado por una joven de apellidos Salgado Ampié, de 27 años, quien en apariencia manejaba bajo los efectos del alcohol.
De acuerdo con el reporte de las autoridades, en apariencia la mujer quien aparece registrada y activa en el Colegio de Enfermeras de Costa Rica, manejaba en estado de ebriedad, lo que provocó que perdiera el control de su vehículo, atropellando al adulto mayor.
Al momento del atropello Campos, estaba junto a su esposa, una adulta mayor, quien afortunadamente no resultó herida en este aparatoso accidente.
En cuanto a la mujer, las autoridades no dieron a conocer los resultados de la alcoholemia, sin embargo, sí quedó bajo custodia policial.
Por su parte, Campos, sigue luchando por su vida en el centro médico, según contó Gerardo Ruiz, asesor del diputado hijo del afectado, el señor fue sometido a una cirugía el sábado.
“El estado de salud de don Gilberto es grave, pero estable. Sigue luchando por su vida. Ayer (sábado) en la tarde fue sometido a una operación y los médicos están a la espera de ver cómo evoluciona”, expresó Ruiz a LT.
