“Se perdió una vida por negligencia”: Abuelo del niño fallecido tras caída de árbol
Familiares y residentes del área sostienen que los árboles del parque donde se desarrolló la tragedia presentan un estado deplorable.
La tarde de este jueves falleció un pequeño de cuatro años luego de que un árbol le cayera encima. El lamentable hecho sucedió en El Guarco de Cartago.
Greivin Vargas, abuelo del menor, contó a Telenoticias que su hija, la mamá del pequeño venía del kínder cuando ocurrió la lamentable tragedia.
La mujer se encuentra internada en el Hospital Max Peralta ya que sufrió varias cortaduras en la cabeza.
Don Greivin manifestó su molestia debido a que los árboles de ese parque se encuentran en mal estado.
Un vecino coincidió con el abuelo del menor, y aseguró que desde octubre del año anterior advirtieron a las autoridades del Ministerio de Ambiente y Energía (Minae) y de la municipalidad de estos árboles de más de 20 metros, pero nadie hizo nada.
“La gestión de nosotros se limitó a hacer la advertencia, la recomendación y la solicitud. Yo ni ningún vecino de acá podemos tomarnos la atribución de cortar un árbol ni aunque lo paguemos porque eso implica un montón de cosas como una póliza del INS, un accidente o cualquier cosa que pueda ocurrir», indicó William Piedra a Telenoticias.
“Esto me tiene consternado de ver que tal vez se pudo haber evitado esta situación que estamos viviendo hoy. Estoy seguro de que todo el país se está lamentando esta situación, por equis razones no se hicieron y hoy estamos sufriendo las consecuencias”, añadió.
