Por robo de ‘breakers’, condenan a pareja a 15 años de cárcel
Los hechos ilícitos ocurrieron en el sector de Jardines Universitarios, en Heredia.
El Tribunal de Flagrancia de Heredia sentenció a 15 años de prisión a un hombre y a una mujer por tres delitos de robo agravado. Los hechos ocurrieron en el sector de Jardines Universitarios, en Heredia.
Según recoge una nota de prensa del Ministerio Público, los imputados son un hombre de apellidos Vargas Arroyo y una mujer apellidada Soto Cascante, quienes, según se demostró con la prueba aportada, cometieron los hechos ilícitos la madrugada del pasado 17 de octubre.
“Los acusados actuaron siguiendo un plan para sustraer breakers eléctricos de cajas de distribución ubicadas en tres viviendas del lugar. De esta manera, mientras Soto hacía labores de vigilancia, Vargas utilizó la fuerza para extraer los aparatos; con ello, lograron apoderarse de al menos seis breakers, además, ocasionaron daños a los sistemas eléctricos”, indica el comunicado.
“Luego de que los afectados dieron aviso a la Policía Municipal, oficiales de este cuerpo policial realizaron un operativo y lograron detener a los imputados, a 300 metros del lugar de los hechos”, agrega el documento.
Mientras la sentencia queda en firme, Vargas y Soto permanecerán en prisión preventiva. La causa se investigó dentro del expediente 21-000838-1094-PE.
