Policía de tránsito detenido: habría cobrado “mordida” a chofer para evitar multa
Tráfico habría pedido ₡50.000, denunció el conductor.
En San José, fue arrestado un oficial de la Policía de Tránsito bajo sospecha de exigir dinero a un conductor para no confeccionarle una multa.
Se trata de un hombre apellidado Hernández Esquivel, de 57 años.
Según informó el departamento de Prensa del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) los hechos ocurrieron el pasado lunes 1° de mayo cuando el ofendido transitaba en su carro por la capital.
“Según relató el denunciante, el oficial lo detiene y le indica que cometió una falta a la Ley de Tránsito, cuya multa era bastante elevada y perdería puntos en la licencia. En ese momento, le solicitó ₡50.000 para no realizarse la infracción, el conductor le indica que no tenía dinero en ese momento, por lo que se pusieron de acuerdo para verse hoy (jueves) y entregárselo”, explicó la Policía Judicial.
El hombre quedó bajo las órdenes del Ministerio Público.
