Operativo para dar con reces robadas terminó en un importante decomiso de droga en Atenas
Las autoridades detuvieron a un hombre que llevaba el cargamento de droga en un vehículo.
Este miércoles en horas de la madrugada oficiales de la Fuerza Pública de Atenas, de Alajuela se llevaron una tremenda sorpresa, luego de que dieron con un importante decomiso de droga cuando realizaban un operativo para prevenir el destace y robo de ganado.
Según dio a conocer el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública, está incautación ocurrió en el distrito de Escobal, donde los uniformados mantenían dicho operativo.
“En un momento determinado el conductor de un vehículo huyó a toda velocidad del sitio al notar la presencia policial. Una patrulla de la Fuerza Pública le dio persecución hasta que logró detenerlo. Los oficiales observaron desde fuera del automotor unos bultos que se encontraban en el asiento trasero que podrían ser droga, por lo que de inmediato detuvieron al chofer”, detalló el Ministerio de Seguridad.
Tanto Chaves como la droga quedaron en manos del Ministerio Público, para el respectivo proceso judicial.
