Oficiales de la PCD detuvieron a seis funcionarios de APM Terminals
Los detenidos son sospechosos de enviar drogas desde la terminal a otros países.
La mañana de este martes 13 de diciembre, el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública, informó acerca de varios allanamientos que realizó la Policía Control de Drogas (PCD), para dar con un grupo de personas sospechosas de enviar droga a otros países.
Según Segtrascendió los sospechosos son empleados de la terminal de Moín, Limón APM Terminals, y de la empresa que brinda los servicios de seguridad privada TCM en ese mismo lugar.
Dichos allanamientos dieron con la captura de seis personas, a quienes la PCD, les seguía los pasos desde el 23 de julio pasado, esto después de que un sujeto de apellido Jara conducía un camión que entró a la Terminal de Contenedores de Moín, y el cual llevaba 1.200 kilos de aparente cocaína.
“Este cargamento de droga fue introducido en un contenedor, delito en el cual en apariencia colaboró una entonces funcionaria de la empresa que prestara servicios de seguridad privada en TCM, así como los empleados directos de APM Terminals”, indicaron los oficiales de la PCD mediante un comunicado.
Estos empleados en apariencia se encuentran vinculadas al tráfico internacional de drogas ya que cumplieron acciones específicas para llevar a cabo la contaminación del contenedor, que pretendían que salieran de la terminal.
