Matrimonio que cayó en vehículo al río Térraba aparece a 20 kilómetros del carro
Los fallecidos tenían siete meses de casados.
Un hombre que navegaba cerca del embarcadero de Ciudad Cortés, en Puntarenas, halló el cuerpo de Mileidy Alpízar, de 28 años, quien estaba desaparecida junto con su esposo desde el domingo anterior.
Una hora después, cerca del mismo sitio, un botero encontró el cuerpo del esposo de la mujer, Marcel Espinoza Morales, de 30 años.
Por causas que se desconocen, el auto en el que viajaba la pareja habría caído por una ladera que conduce al río Térraba la noche del domingo 15 de agosto.
Desde que se dio la voz de alerta al menos 50 personas entre cruzrojistas, bomberos, voluntarios y guías de rafting iniciaron la búsqueda que dio sus frutos la mañana de este martes.
El vehículo del joven matrimonio estaba en un banco de arena, cerca de donde quedó el rastro del vuelco.
Gracias a un sistema de imanes atados a cuerdas, el vecino Freddy Gardoza, detectó una estructura metálica en el fondo del río cerca de donde se habría precipitado el carro. Minutos después se verificó que era el auto en el que viajaba la pareja.
A la 1:20 p.m. se confirmó que los ocupantes no estaban dentro del Nissan Tiida negro, por lo que los cuerpos de rescate continuaron con la búsqueda hasta que fueron alertados primero del hallazgo del cuerpo de una mujer y luego de un hombre.
Mileidy Alpízar Venegas era originaria de Pérez Zeledón y se desempeñaba como coordinadora del Juzgado Penal de Buenos Aires y su esposo, Marcel Gustavo Espinoza Morales, era administrador de la Cruz Roja, también de Buenos Aires .
La pareja contrajo nupcias el pasado 23 de enero. La última información que se tuvo sobre el matrimonio es que el domingo visitaron a la madre de Marcel, en Ciudad Neily. A las 7 p.m, le avisaron a la familia de Mileidy que ya iban de camino para Buenos Aires, donde residían.
El lunes en horas de la mañana los vecinos alertaron sobre el hallazgo de indicios como una baranda colapsada, rastros de vehículo y piezas tiradas en el trayecto del río. De inmediato dieron aviso a las autoridades.
En el sitio del incidente quedó el bumper y la placa, se realizó una investigación y se determinó que el dueño del carro y su esposa se encontraban desaparecidos.
La búsqueda se realizó durante más de 30 horas con lanchas, balsas inflables, una sonda radar, que permite una mejor visión submarina, y drones, informó el rotativo.
