Más de 60 funcionarios de distintas entidades acudieron a inspeccionar el deslizamiento del condominio
Autoridades aseguran que no recibieron ningún tipo de informe el día de ayer con respecto a lo sucedido.
Después de que la tarde de este jueves 2 de febrero, comenzarán a circular imágenes y videos en redes sociales, acerca de un deslizamiento en Punta Leona, en Garabito de Puntarenas, no fue hasta este viernes que autoridades especialistas en el tema se acercaron al lugar de los hechos.

Esto debido a que anteriormente no se les había comunicado de lo sucedido e indicaron que se enteraron de lo que pasó por medio de la prensa y redes sociales, al igual que fue hasta este viernes 3 de febrero, que ingresó una llamada de alerta a través del 9-1-1.
En horas de la mañana se apersonaron autoridades de la Comisión Nacional de Emergencias (CNE) y el Comité Municipal de Emergencias de Garabito, quienes iniciaron con las investigaciones para dar con las razones que provocaron el deslizamiento de tierra.
Asimismo, según indicó Karina Cabezas, supervisora del benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos, la entidad envió más de cuatro vehículos operativos, con funcionarios y equipos que realizarían sus respectivas laborares en el lugar, además, de verificar que no hay personas heridas o fallecidas en medio de los escombros que cayeron de las propiedades afectadas.
Con respecto al tema de posibles víctimas, las autoridades preliminarmente descartaron que haya personas heridas o fallecidas producto de esta situación.
De acuerdo a lo sucedido, versiones extraoficiales indican que el deslizamiento de tierra inició desde el miércoles en horas de la madrugada, terminando el jueves de caerse parte de las estructuras de los condominios Altos de Leonamar.
