Fiscalía: Sujeto mató a Luany Salazar luego de invitarla a su casa para ver un anillo
Juicio por asesinato de la joven inició este lunes luego de dos intentos fallidos.
Este lunes 5 de julio inició en los Tribunales de Justicia en Cartago, el juicio contra Kenneth Enrique Mejía Chavarría, de 38 años, acusado de matar y enterrar a la joven Luany Valeria Salazar Zamora, de 23 años.
El fiscal Adrián Coto, narró lo que aparentemente sucedió entre el 9 y el 10 de junio del 2020, día en que la joven fue asesinada en una vivienda ubicada en Linda Vista de Río Azul, en la Unión de Cartago.
“Una vez en el sitio, el imputado (Mejía), actuando sobre seguro porque siempre mantuvo bajo pretexto a Luany, le solicitó que lo acompañara a su habitación que está en la segunda planta del inmueble. Le pidió que pasaran en silencio ya que alguien más estaba en la primera planta”, agregó.
“En la habitación del imputado, de manera sorpresiva e impredecible porque no existía conflicto entre ellos, el imputado le da muerte a la ofendida para apoderarse de sus bienes. Mediante un objeto no determinado, pero con corte punzocortante, le propinó seis heridas en el cuello y la cara. Heridas a las que Luany no puedo poner resistencia ni pedir ayuda, ya que, ante tal acción, muere”, indicó el fiscal.
Esta es la tercera ocasión en la que se intenta realizar el juicio en el cual el Ministerio Público acusa a Mejía Chavarría de los delitos de homicidio calificado y robo ya que el imputado intentó vender el celular de Luany en una compra venta.
Ha sido suspendido dos veces: el 18 de marzo y el 25 de mayo.
