Fiscalía apelará libertad otorgada a imputados en caso “Cochinilla”
La audiencia se realizará el próximo lunes 12 de julio a las 8:30 a.m.
El Ministerio Público informó que apelará la libertad de los imputados en el caso “Cochinilla” en el que se investiga a funcionarios del Gobierno y de empresas privadas por la supuesta malversación de fondos destinados a la construcción de obras públicas.
Luego de 12 días de audiencia, la Fiscalía solicitó un año de prisión preventiva en contra de 15 de los 30 detenidos por el caso. Sin embargo, la jueza Carolina Lizano resolvió que todos los sospechosos quedaran en libertad. Esto incluyó a los propietarios de las constructoras H.Solís, Mélida Solís, y MECO, Carlos Cerdas quienes pagaron fianzas de $3 y $5 respectivamente.
El Tribunal Penal de Hacienda del Segundo Circuito Judicial de San José, s notificó a las partes intervinientes en el expediente número 19-000025-1218-PE que será una audiencia oral y privada como lo dispone el Código Procesal Penal en los procesos que se encuentran en etapa de investigación.
En la audiencia se analizarán los siguientes puntos:
Resolución que decretó la prórroga instrumental de la medida cautelar.
Resolución que ordena medidas cautelares en contra de las personas imputadas.
La decisión que tomó la jueza Lizano es investigada por el Ministerio Público por el presunto delito de prevaricato, luego de una denuncia que presentó un abogado de apellido Paniagua.
