Encuentran feto de seis meses en planta de tratamiento de aguas de hospital
Hallazgo ocurrió en Hospital San Carlos.
Sorprendido quedó el encargado de la planta de tratamiento de aguas del Hospital San Carlos cuando encontró un feto de seis meses al momento que realizaba su trabajo.
El hecho ocurrió el pasado lunes 20 de diciembre. Édgar Carrillo, director del centro médico, confirmó a Diario Extra el hallazgo y aseguró que el caso es reciente, ya que aún el cuerpito no presentaba muestras de descomposición.
Carrillo agregó que apenas fue alertado por el personal de mantenimiento, se presentó en el lugar y luego de confirmar procedió a dar aviso a las autoridades.
“Al ser las 9 de la mañana nos informaron del hallazgo de un feto, por lo que me desplacé al lado de atrás del hospital donde se confirmó el hallazgo, de inmediato le di aviso tanto al OIJ como a la Fiscalía, los cuales en cuestión de minutos llegaron a la escena y se dedicaron a realizar las diligencias del caso. A pesar de que no se puede determinar cuántos meses tenía, las autoridades sí estimaron un aproximado de seis meses”, explicó.
Según indica la publicación de Diario Extra, inicialmente las autoridades señalaron que una mujer lo abortó y lo depositó en uno de los servicios sanitarios internos o externos, pero no descartan otros escenarios.
Agentes del OIJ abrieron una investigación para encontrar a la mamá del menor y esclarecer lo acontecido.
Al finalizar las diligencias, los agentes llevaron al nonato a la morgue judicial, ubicada en San Joaquín de Flores en Heredia, donde será analizado por un médico forense.
