Detienen en Alajuela a sospechoso de integrar Mara Salvatrucha
El presunto integrante de la MS-13 contaba con alerta roja de la Interpol.
La Policía de Migración detuvo a un extranjero de nacionalidad salvadoreña, apellidado Zelaya Orellana, como presunto integrante de la pandilla Mara Salvatrucha MS-13 la tarde del martes anterior 6 de julio en Alajuela.
Zelaya fue aprehendido tras varios trabajos de investigación, ya que cuenta con orden de captura vigente por el delito de extorsión agravada y antecedentes por delitos de tráfico ilícito y agrupaciones ilícitas, así como una alerta roja de Interpol.
El detenido fue trasladado al Centro de Aprehensión Regional Central de la Dirección de la Policía de Migración, donde permanecerá mientras se coordina el proceso correspondiente de deportación.
Durante este año las autoridades de Migración han detenido a 17 mareros que pertenecen a pandillas de El Salvador, Nicaragua y Honduras.
