Autoridades detienen a sospechoso de asesinato que se mantuvo en fuga nueve meses
El detenido es el principal sospechoso de asesinar a otro hombre en Matina, en febrero pasado.
Este martes 29 de noviembre, los agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) de Batán, detuvieron a un hombre de apellido Jiménez, de 40 años, por ser sospechoso de un homicidio que ocurrió en febrero pasado.
Las autoridades capturaron al hombre quien llevaban buscándolo nueve meses, en Estrada de Matina.
“Desde ese momento parece que se estuvo trasladando a varias partes del país hasta que se logró ubicar en las afueras de la vivienda de un pariente donde se estaba escondiendo”, indicaron en el OIJ.
Jiménez es el principal sospechoso de asesinar de múltiples disparos a un hombre de 30 años, identificado como José Luis Flores Fernández, el pasado 27 de febrero en Boston de Matina, Limón.
Según indicaron las autoridades, el día de los hechos la víctima estaba junto a varias personas conversando cerca de la plaza de deportes de la localidad cuando en apariencia llegó Jiménez en una motocicleta y le disparó en reiteradas ocasiones.
En cuando a los motivos que generaron la agresión, trascendió que se dio debido a problemas entre los dos hombres.
El detenido quedó en manos del Ministerio Público, quienes determinarán su situación judicial.
