Alajuela: Capturan a sospechoso de patear y arrastrar a un perro con una cadena
El sospechoso del cruel maltrato animal es un hombre de 25 años.
La noche del pasado jueves, un hombre identificado con el apellido Alvarado fue detenido como sospechoso de arrastrar a un perro con una cadena por la calle y agarrarlo a patadas en plena vía pública en Alajuela.
Según informó Telenoticias, los hechos fueron reportados por una llamada que ingresó a la delegación policial del cantón de Guatuso, en la Zona Norte.
“Una unidad policial se trasladó hasta el distrito de San Rafael, los oficiales ubicaron a un sujeto que aparentemente arrastraba a un perro sobre el pavimento con una cadena y, además, lo pateó en varias ocasiones, por lo que los agentes se lo arrebataron de las manos para evitar el maltrato”, indicó el MSP al medio.
El presunto agresor, de 25 años de edad, fue remitido a la Fiscalía por el aparente delito de maltrato animal y agresión a la autoridad.
Ante estos hechos, el MSP hizo un llamado a la población para denunciar cualquier acto de maltrato animal, ya que constituye un delito y puede ser sancionado por la ley. Asimismo, recordó la importancia de proteger a los animales y tratarlos con respeto y dignidad.
