Abogados de Mélida Solís aseguran que padece de: “una enfermedad incurable y degenerativa”
La defensa de la empresaria asegura que las condiciones de la prisión: “podrían generarle una muerte súbita”.
Los abogados de Mélida Solís, propietaria de la constructora H.Solís, presentaron un incidente de enfermedad ante el Juzgado Penal de Hacienda del Segundo Circuito Judicial de San José.
La defensa de la empresaria asegura, y lo ha demostrado por medio de dictámenes médicos, que Solís padece de una enfermedad cardiovascular degenerativa que no le permite permanecer en el Centro de Atención Integral (CAI) Vilma Curling, mejor conocido como El Buen Pastor.
“La gestión que ha hecho la defensa es un incidente de enfermedad, es algo muy distinto a un cambio de circunstancias. La defensa no está solicitando la libertad de doña Mélida, sino las condiciones del cumplimiento de la prisión preventiva frente a un derecho a la salud y las enfermedades que tiene doña Mélida”, declaró Simón Angulo, uno de sus abogados de la empresaria a Telenoticias.
“Como esto es una audiencia confidencial, nosotros no podemos dar detalles de las enfermedades o de los expedientes médicos de doña Mélida, pero sí le puedo decir que tiene una enfermedad grave, incurable y degenerativa. Precisamente, las circunstancias penitenciarias agravan la situación de ella y, evidentemente, deterioran su salud frente a lo que es el proceso, provocando degeneraciones físicas que podrían generarle una muerte súbita o incluso una incapacidad cognitiva cognositiva para enfrentar el proceso”, agregó.
“Lo que nosotros queremos es que doña Mélida se conserve en su estado de salud, sabiendo el sistema que tiene posibilidades de que su situación desmejore o que, incluso, no pudiera cumplir con el proceso ante una eventual muerte súbita”, concluyó Simón Angulo.
