26 años de casados tenían las víctimas mortales del accidente de este sábado en la ruta 32
El hijo de la pareja logró sobrevivir al aparatoso accidente.
Las autoridades identificaron como Jorge Luis Ugalde López, de 68 años, y Marta Elena Acuña López, de 62 años, a las dos lamentables víctimas del accidente de tránsito ocurrido la mañana de este sábado en la ruta 32, quienes, además, eran esposos desde hace 26 años.
Según trascendió el aparatoso accidente se dio al ser 7:15am, a la altura del sector conocido como la “vuelta de los sustos, esto en el cerro Zurquí, en San Isidro de Heredia.
En cuanto a las causas que originaron el lamentable suceso, de momento son desconocidas, solo trascendió que el conductor del vehículo perdió el control de este, lo que ocasionó que cayeran a un precipicio de 80 metros de profundidad.
La pareja que falleció calcinada, viajaba junto a su hijo de 26 años, quien sí logró salir del vehículo segundos antes de que este explotara.
Al lugar de los hechos llegó personal del Cuerpo de Bomberos, quienes respondieron de inmediato a la atención de la emergencia, sin embargo, a su llegada al lugar, las víctimas ya estaban calcinadas.
“De inmediato, Bomberos respondió con personal y equipo de rescate vertical, vehicular, paramédicos y unidad extintora. Lamentablemente, en este incidente lograron hallar un vehículo con fuego a 80 metros de profundidad, con 2 personas calcinadas y una tercera persona, quien fue rescatada y trasladada en condición crítica al centro médico”, indicó el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Costa Rica.
En el rescate también participó personal de socorro de la Cruz Roja Costarricense y oficiales de la Fuerza Pública.
De momento se desconoce cual de los tres ocupantes iba conduciendo el vehículo, la pareja era vecina de San Miguel de Desamparados, en San José.
