Yosimar Arias: “Me siento muy orgulloso de haberle ayudado a Saprissa”
El técnico interino de Guanacasteca, Yosimar Arias, expresó su satisfacción tras la reciente victoria 1-0 sobre el Real Estelí de Nicaragua, un resultado que, aunque dejó a su equipo fuera de la competencia, permitió al Deportivo Saprissa adjudicarse el primer lugar del Grupo D en la Copa Centroamericana.
Arias reconoció que, aunque su objetivo inicial era ganar todos los partidos, incluyendo los encuentros contra Saprissa, Municipal y Managua, su equipo no logró avanzar a la siguiente ronda. Sin embargo, destacó que terminaron su participación “con la frente en alto” y ahora se preparan para una intensa agenda de partidos en el torneo nacional y de copa.
“Me siento muy orgulloso de haberle ayudado a Saprissa”, comentó Arias, al referirse al impacto positivo de su triunfo para el club morado, que acumuló 9 puntos, superando por dos al Real Estelí. A pesar de la eliminación, el técnico subrayó la importancia de cerrar el torneo con un resultado que benefició a un equipo costarricense.
Cabe destacar que, a pesar de liderar el grupo, Saprissa es el único club de Costa Rica que ha sufrido dos derrotas en territorio nicaragüense, ambas frente al Real Estelí en el marco de la Copa Centroamericana.
