(Video) Hombre arriesga su vida para rescatar a perro atrapado en las inundaciones de Turrialba
“Había que arriesgarse, es un ser vivo y ocupaba ayuda”, comentó Samir Aguilar.
En medio de las devastadoras inundaciones que afectan a gran parte del territorio nacional, se viralizó la historia de Samir Aguilar Salazar, un joven de 22 años que rescató a un perro que estaba atrapado en medio del río Turrialba ubicado en el cantón del mismo nombre.
El hecho, que ocurrió este viernes a las 10:00 a.m. cerca de la estación de Bomberos del lugar, se volvió tendencia luego de que la hermana del joven, Isabel, publicara el video del rescate en la página de Facebook de su fundación Apadrinando Colitas, que ayuda a los animalitos que deambulan por las calles.
“El perro estaba en estado de shock, no entendía nada, ni siquiera estaba consciente de lo que estaba pasando. Estaba hecho un puño, totalmente entumido y tenía demasiado frío.
“Cuando yo lo saqué me empezó a respirar como más agitado, porque casi no podía respirar en medio río. Luego me comenzó a respirar más fuerte cuando yo me lo pegué al cuerpo para calentarlo”, aseguró el joven al rotativo.
El rescatista asegura que la corriente arrastró al perrito por 2 km.
“El perro estaba prensado entre una rama de un árbol muy grande. Aunque el acceso estaba difícil, sí se podía meter uno hasta donde estaba él, pero diay había que arriesgarse, es un ser vivo y ocupaba ayuda”, comentó Aguilar.
El rescatista contó que luego de sacar al perrito del agua lo puso en el suelo para ver si podía caminar, pero que el can no podía sostenerse por lo que prefirió llevarlo en brazos a un lugar seguro: “Ya lo tengo en mi casa, lo metí en cobijas y está bien”, indicó.
Samir reconoció que sintió miedo al momento del rescate, pero que su compromiso con los animales fue más fuerte.
