(Video) Así se sintió el sismo de esta tarde en la Asamblea Legislativa
Al momento del sismo los diputados se encontraban en una votación en el Plenario Legislativo.
El fuerte temblor que fue sentido en todo el país este miércoles a las 3:15 p.m. también inquietó a los diputados de la República quienes al momento del sismo se encontraban en una votación en el Plenario de la Asamblea Legislativa.
Según informó el periódico La Nación, no había terminado el movimiento telúrico cuando los congresistas ya estaban de pie, pero no podían salir del salón porque durante el acto de votación las puertas del Plenario deben mantenerse cerradas.
“Lo que señala es que, al sonar las alarmas en este recinto, sería el momento de movilizarse, situación distinta a otros lugares físicos, patrimoniales de la Asamblea, donde el protocolo es distinto”, indicó Hernández.
La diputada del Partido Liberación Nacional (PLN), Karine Niño, grabó el momento del sismo cuyo epicentro se localizó 113 kilómetros al sur de Punta Burica, en Panamá. La profundidad fue de 10 kilómetros, informó la Red Sismológica Nacional (RSN).
No se reportan daños materiales ni personas heridas
Alexander Solís, presidente de la Comisión Nacional de Emergencias (CNE), informó que no se recibieron informes sobre daños materiales ni personas heridas luego del fuerte sismo.
Solís, indicó que tuvieron reportes de caída de objetos en varios puntos como negocios y supermercados.
“En muchas partes del país, pero sobre todo en el Caribe y en los cantones cercanos a la frontera Sur. Este sismo ocurrió al otro lado de la frontera con Panamá, 100 kilómetros al sur de la cabecera del distrito de Barú. De momento no tenemos daños reportados en el país”, indicó el presidente de la CNE.
