Vestidito que estrenará la Virgen de los Ángeles llegará de Puntarenas
Este 2023 el diseño del estreno que lucirá “La Negrita” estará a cargo de la Diócesis de Puntarenas que celebra el 25 aniversario de su creación.
Este 2023 en la ceremonia de Vestición de la imagen de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles se escogerá un vestidito proveniente de la Diócesis de Puntarenas, esto con motivo del 25 aniversario de esa iglesia particular ubicada en el pacífico del país.
Así las cosas, la Curia puntarenense recibirá vestidos hasta el 15 de julio. Estos serán enviados al Santuario Nacional en Cartago y allí se hará una selección, el 1° de agosto, durante la Misa Vestición se escogerá el vestido definitivo que portará La Negrita durante un año.
Mons. Óscar Fernández, obispo de Puntarenas, expresó su agradecimiento al obispo de Cartago, Mons. Mario Quirós; al rector de la Basílica Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, Miguel Adrián Rivera; y todas las personas encargadas de la organización del 2 de agosto.
“Ya varias personas nos han entregado vestidos y vienen otros en camino. Esto nos proporciona satisfacción. Nos sentimos muy alegres de saber que el 1 de agosto se vestirá la imagen de la Virgen con un vestido fabricado por manos puntarenenses”, comentó Mons. Fernández.
25 años de remar
El padre Luis Carlos Aguilar, vicario general de la diócesis, comentó a Eco Católico que “(este aniversario) nos pone los pies sobre la tierra para replantear cuál debe ser la Iglesia que necesita Puntarenas. Esto implica una mirada hacia adentro de la Iglesia, de sinodalidad, de restaurar, reconocer y reconocernos como una Iglesia con una identidad propia. Los laicos quieren una iglesia inclusiva, alegre, cercana, que no juzgue, una iglesia al estilo Francisco”.
