Vence beneficio de Hogares Conectados del ICE, interesados deberán pagar entre ₡12mil y ₡18mil
El vencimiento comienza a regir a partir del 1 de abril.
Según dio a conocer el Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE), a partir del próximo 1 de abril, vence el beneficio otorgado por el Programa Hogares Conectados (Fonatel-Internet Hogar).
Asimismo indicaron que una vez vencido este beneficio, se deberá realizar el cobro de los precios de la oferta comercial convencional, dichos montos quedarán de la siguiente manera:
De acuerdo con la institución desde el pasado 1 de junio del 2022, inició el vencimiento de los contratos de adhesión asociados al servicio de datos fijos, con el beneficio del Programa Hogares Conectados (PHC).
Esto se da en medio del apagón educativo y el ensanchamiento de la brecha digital académica que se vio agravada por la pandemia del Covid-19.
¿De que trata el programa?
Con este proyecto ha brindado un subsidio parcial y directo al pago de los servicios de telecomunicaciones para hogares que no cuentan con recursos suficientes para acceder a dichos servicios y que además, se encuentran en condiciones de vulnerabilidad económica, social y geográfica.
Cabe destacar que dichos hogares son precalificados por el Instituto Mixto de Ayuda Social (IMAS).
Por su parte el ICE informó que de sus usuarios no estar de acuerdo con la aplicación de los precios señalados anteriormente, podrá solicitar la baja del servicio sin penalización alguna ante el operador.
“Dado lo anterior, se le estará contactando por parte de nuestro personal de comercialización para presentarle la oferta actual de los servicios de Internet que brinda el ICE, con el fin de que adquiera un nuevo plan y continúe disfrutando del servicio de Internet de kölbi”, indicó la entidad.
