Siga el recorrido de la Antorcha de la Independencia de forma virtual
Por segundo año consecutivo, los costarricenses tendrán la oportunidad de seguir el recorrido de la Antorcha de la Independencia de manera virtual.
Desde este 13 de septiembre, cuando la antorcha cruzó la frontera en Peñas Blancas e ingresó al territorio nacional a las 11:00 a.m., es posible seguir su recorrido en tiempo real a través de la plataforma https://antorcha.gob.go.cr/.
También SINART dispondrá de su plataforma digital para compartir el seguimiento en www.sinartdigital.com.
Este esfuerzo tecnológico es el resultado de una colaboración entre el MICITT, la empresa Servinformación, el Ministerio de Educación Pública, el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública, SINART, RACSA y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID).
El año pasado, más de 92.000 personas disfrutaron de esta experiencia digital, demostrando el éxito de la iniciativa que conecta a los ciudadanos con el fervor patrio desde cualquier lugar.
La Antorcha de la Independencia, también conocida como la Antorcha de la Fraternidad, es una tradición que une a las naciones centroamericanas desde 1964. Partiendo de Guatemala el 1 de setiembre, culmina en Cartago, la primera capital de Costa Rica, el 14 de setiembre, en vísperas del Día de la Independencia.
El Decreto Ejecutivo N°32647-C, del 14 de setiembre de 2005, declaró la Antorcha de la Independencia como símbolo nacional, representando el esfuerzo y la dedicación de miles de estudiantes costarricenses que participan cada año en este acto patriótico, el cual es acompañado por la Fuerza Pública.
