Rodrigo Chaves pedirá destitución del presidente ejecutivo del INA
El Presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, anunció que solicitará la destitución del Presidente Ejecutivo del Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje (INA), Juan Alfaro.
La solicitud será presentada esta misma tarde durante una sesión extraordinaria del Consejo de Gobierno.
La determinación del mandatario se produce tras una reunión en la que se abordó el progreso de la Estrategia de Bilingüismo, un proyecto clave para la actual administración.
Según informó Casa Presidencial, Alfaro reconoció ante el Presidente que los avances en esta área han sido insuficientes, lo que llevó a Chaves a tomar la decisión de pedir su destitución.
La Estrategia de Bilingüismo es una de las prioridades del Gobierno, diseñada para mejorar las competencias lingüísticas de los costarricenses en inglés, una habilidad considerada esencial para la inserción laboral en un mercado cada vez más globalizado.
La falta de progreso en esta iniciativa ha generado preocupación en el Ejecutivo, que busca acelerar los resultados en este ámbito.
La solicitud de destitución de Juan Alfaro será evaluada por el cuerpo ministerial durante la sesión del Consejo de Gobierno, en la cual se espera que se tomen decisiones respecto al liderazgo del INA y la continuidad de los proyectos estratégicos de la institución.
