Rodrigo Chaves: “Los titiriteros, como los hermanos Rodrigo y Óscar Arias Sánchez. Este presidente no se le va a hincar a nadie”
El presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves, lanzó fuertes críticas contra los hermanos Rodrigo y Óscar Arias Sánchez, calificándolos como “titiriteros” y asegurando que no se someterá a sus influencias. Durante una conferencia de prensa el pasado viernes, el mandatario dejó claro que su lealtad es únicamente hacia su pueblo y hacia Dios.
“Los titiriteros, como los hermanos Rodrigo y Óscar Arias Sánchez. Este presidente no se le va a hincar a nadie, excepto a mi Dios y a mi pueblo”, declaró Chaves en respuesta a los cuestionamientos emitidos por Rodrigo Arias, quien lo acusó de polarizar y confrontar al país.
La tensión entre Chaves y Rodrigo Arias no es nueva. Desde abril de este año, las diferencias entre ambos líderes se intensificaron cuando Arias reveló que Chaves había condicionado su apoyo a la presidencia del Congreso en 2022, a cambio de que se permitiera vencer el plazo de una investigación sobre el Partido Progreso Social Democrático.
Además, las recientes críticas de Chaves hacia el Fiscal General, relacionadas con el caso Barrenador y la detención de Marta Esquivel, presidenta ejecutiva de la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social, han profundizado las divisiones políticas.
Con estas declaraciones, Chaves sigue consolidando su discurso combativo, mientras las tensiones con la oposición liberacionista continúan creciendo.
