Rodrigo Chaves es nombrado Ciudadano de Honor en Niza, Francia
La distinción le fue otorgada por Christian Estrosi, alcalde de la ciudad francesa.
El presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, fue reconocido como Ciudadano de Honor en Niza, Francia.
La distinción le fue otorgada por Christian Estrosi, alcalde de la ciudad francesa que será sede de la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Océano en 2025, evento en el que Costa Rica participa como organizador junto a Francia.
La reunión permitió conversar sobre las oportunidades de colaboración entre Costa Rica y Niza, ciudad reconocida como un importante polo de competitividad, es decir, un sitio donde se establecen empresas, organizaciones de investigación, instituciones de enseñanza, entre otras.
Actualmente, en Niza existen polos de competitividad establecidos en áreas como Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación, Industria Biomédica, energías limpias, recursos marinos, gestión de riesgos, aeroespacial, química cosmética y alimentaria.
