Procuraduría reclama ₡59 mil millones a involucrados en caso “Cochinilla”
“Con la interposición de la acción civil resarcitoria, el Estado pretende la indemnización y restitución del daño material y social causado”, indicó la PEP.
La Procuraduría de la Ética Pública (PEP), informó este miércoles que reclamará ₡59 mil millones a las personas físicas y jurídicas involucradas en el caso “Cochinilla”, en el que se investiga a funcionarios del Gobierno y de empresas privadas por la supuesta malversación de fondos destinados a la construcción de obra pública.
“La demanda civil se dirige contra 78 personas entre físicas y jurídicas, sea los funcionarios públicos investigados, así como a los particulares y empresas involucradas.
La Procuraduría detalló que el monto que reclama “se estableció de manera prudencial” en ₡45.184 millones por concepto del daño material, a lo que se suman ₡13.555 millones por el daño social causado por los presuntos sospechosos.
Estos montos podrían variar, dado a que se encuentra en una etapa preparatoria.
