Este sábado personas en situación de calle en San José serán vacunadas contra la Covid-19
La jornada de vacunación se llevará a cabo este sábado en un parque de la capital.
Los equipos vacunadores de la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS), en alianza con la organización no gubernamental Chepe se Baña, la Municipalidad de San José y la Clínica Bíblica realizarán este sábado 17 de julio una jornada de vacunación contra la Covid-19 para las personas en situación de calle de San José.
La aplicación de la vacuna contra el coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 se llevará a cabo este sábado de 10:30 a.m. a 7:00 a.m. en el Parque General José María Cañas, en la capital, frente a la Estación al Pacífico.
“Chepe se Baña pone la plataforma y la experiencia. Nosotros hemos estado trabajando durante toda la pandemia con los habitantes de la calle, sabemos quiénes son y es por eso que durante estos días les hemos puesto brazaletes: serán esas las personas que se vacunarán”, indicó Mauricio Villalobos, director de la organización a Telenoticias.
De acuerdo con datos del Sistema de Población Objetivo del IMAS, durante este año, 4.081 personas se han registrado como en situación de calle en todo el país, de ellos un 56% aproximadamente tiene más de 40 años.
