Menos Lluvias y Polvo del Sahara: ¿Qué Esperar?
El Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) ha anunciado la llegada inminente de las “canículas” a Costa Rica, un fenómeno que traerá consigo una notable reducción de las lluvias en varias regiones del país.
Fechas Claves y Pronósticos
Según el IMN, este período de menor precipitación comenzará el 11 de julio y se extenderá hasta el 13 de agosto. La semana del 15 al 21 de julio será especialmente notable, con una disminución significativa de lluvias en el Pacífico Norte y el Valle Central.
¿Qué es la Canícula?
– Caribe y Zona Norte: Se esperan condiciones más secas de lo habitual.
– Pacífico Sur: Aunque habrá algunas lluvias típicas de la época, se prevén menos intensas.
Polvo del Sahara: Un Componente Adicional
Además de las canículas, el país también enfrentará la llegada de polvo del Sahara, lo que agravará aún más la sequía. Según el IMN, entre el 22 y el 28 de julio, se espera la entrada de estas masas de polvo, lo que reducirá aún más las lluvias.
