Le roban sus ahorros mientras dormía, a través de la app del BCR

Una mujer vecina de San José, quien prefirió mantener su identidad en el anonimato, denunció el robo de 200 mil colones de su cuenta a través de la aplicación móvil del Banco de Costa Rica (BCR).
Según informó Noticias Telediario, este incidente ocurrió dos días después de una falla generalizada en los sistemas electrónicos del BCR a nivel nacional.
La sorpresa radica en que la aplicación requiere múltiples claves y verificaciones de seguridad para acceder a dichos sobres, y la víctima asegura que nunca recibió ninguna solicitud de información sensible, como contraseñas o códigos de acceso.
La denuncia que la mujer presentó al Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) revela que la transacción SINPE móvil se originó desde Guanacaste, a pesar de que la mujer se encontraba durmiendo en San José en el momento del robo.
Ante este incidente, el BCR emitió un comunicado en el que destacan su compromiso con la seguridad de las transacciones de sus clientes, sin embargo, no proporcionaron detalles específicos sobre las medidas que tomarán para abordar este caso particular. También se negaron a divulgar información sobre el número de denuncias similares recibidas este año debido a la confidencialidad del proceso.
La afectada, mientras tanto, se mostró preocupada por la seguridad de sus ahorros y cuestiona si el banco asumirá la responsabilidad por lo sucedido.
“Yo decía son los sobres que le dan como seguridad a usted de que no le va a pasar nada porque ellos dicen que lo tienen a usted como más seguro, con la tranquilidad de que si le roban la tarjeta a usted no le va a pasar nada. Yo esperaría que el banco se haga responsable, pero no sé si lo irán a hacer”, declaró la víctima a Noticias Telediario.
