Le explicamos cómo funcionará la restricción vehicular durante la Semana Santa
A la Semana Mayor se sumará el feriado de la Batalla de Rivas que caerá martes, pero se trasladó su celebración para el lunes 10.
El Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT) informó que la restricción vehícular por número de placa no se aplicará en Semana Santa.
La medida quedará sin efecto a partir del lunes 3 de abril (Lunes Santo) y se retomará el martes 11 de abril, con las placas finalizadas en 3 o en 4.
Si se toma en cuenta los fines de semana, los conductores tendrán total libertad de tránsito por 10 días. Es decir, el último día con restricción vehícular será el viernes 31 de marzo y se retomará hasta el 11 de abril.
La restricción vehicular por número de placa se aplica en San José, de lunes a viernes, de 6 a.m. a 7 p.m. en la zona delimitada por la ruta de Circunvalación inclusive y de ahí hacia el centro de la capital. La multa por irrespetar esta medida ronda los ₡26.000.
