La doctora Olga Arguedas se jubila tras 38 años de servicio en la CCSS
La pediatra inmunóloga fue la primera mujer en dirigir el Hospital Nacional de Niños.
La doctora Olga Arguedas, quien ha sido uno de los rostros más visibles de la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS), decidió “colgar la bata” este viernes tras más de 30 años como médico en esa institución.
Arguedas, la primera mujer en llegar a la Dirección Médica del Hospital Nacional de Niños (HNN), se acogió a su pensión y dejó el centro médico.
Antes de ser directora del HNN, estuvo en la subdirección de dicho hospital y también dirigió el Centro de Desarrollo Estratégico de Salud y Seguridad Social (Cendeiss).
“Ya llegó el tiempo de jubilación, luego de 38 años de trabajo en la Seguridad Social, la mayoría de ellos en este hospital. El tiempo se fue volando, pero estoy muy agradecida”, manifestó Arguedas en un video dedicado a sus compañeros, a sus pacientes y a los medios de comunicación.
