Joven ciego se gradúa en Planificación Económica y Social en la UNA
José Daniel Alfaro, un joven ciego oriundo de una zona rural, ha demostrado que con determinación y apoyo se pueden superar los desafíos más grandes.
Alfaro celebró un logro monumental: culminar la carrera de Planificación Económica y Social en la Universidad Nacional (UNA). Su historia es un testimonio de esfuerzo, resiliencia y del poder del acompañamiento familiar.
En declaraciones al medio Amelia Rueda.com , José Daniel compartió su experiencia, revelando las dificultades que enfrentó durante su recorrido académico.
Desde los desafíos de adaptación en Heredia, lejos de su familia, hasta la lucha por acceder a una educación inclusiva, su camino no fue sencillo.
“Si bien es importante aprender braille, ahora con los avances tecnológicos es todavía más importante implementarlos en el sistema educativo”, comentó Alfaro, destacando la necesidad de que las instituciones educativas se adapten a las necesidades de los estudiantes con discapacidad.
A lo largo de su carrera, José Daniel se encontró con obstáculos significativos, como la falta de diálogo con un docente que lo llevó a retirarse de un curso.
Sin embargo, lejos de desanimarse, supo encontrar fuerza en su fe y en el apoyo de quienes lo rodean.
“Ha sido desafiante en muchos sentidos. Sin embargo, acá estamos. Esto es gracias a Dios, a mi familia y a muchas personas que han formado parte de mi proceso, no solo educativo, sino también de vida en general”, afirmó.
El logro de José Daniel es un recordatorio de la importancia de la inclusión y la accesibilidad en el ámbito educativo.
Su historia inspira a otros a no rendirse ante las dificultades y a luchar por sus sueños, sin importar cuán grandes sean los obstáculos.
