¿Habrá restricción vehicular en Semana Santa? Acá le aclaramos el tema
El feriado del 11 de abril quedó para el lunes 10, lo que genera un fin de semana largo.
A pocos días de que inicie el mes de abril y con ello que llegue la Semana Santa, son muchas las personas que desde ya hacen planes para pasar dichas fechas, sin embargo, para muchos existe la incertidumbre de si para estos días habrá o no restricción vehicular.
Razón por la cual el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT), informó que desde el lunes 3 de abril (Lunes Santo) y hasta el lunes 10 (celebración del 11 de abril), se suspenderá la restricción vehicular.
De acuerdo con el MOPT, la restricción en dichos días antes mencionados es innecesaria, debido a que gracias a los días libres se da una reducción de vehículos circulando en la capital.
Asimismo, informaron que por motivo de que muchas personas salen fuera del Gran Área Metropolitana (GAM), muchos de los oficiales de Tránsito son enviados a las rutas que comunican con las playas y otros lugares turísticos para vacacionar, esto con el objetivo de cuidar a la población y realizar operativos para detectar situaciones que generan peligro en carretera, tal como lo son choferes que viajan a alta velocidad o borrachos.
