Fundación “She Is” buscan mujeres entre los 11 y los 16 años que quieran ser astronautas
Las seleccionadas formarán parte del programa “Ella Es Astronauta”.
Según dio a conocer el programa “Ella Es Astronauta” de la Fundación “She Is”, varias niñas y adolescentes que sueñan con ser astronautas podrían cumplir su sueño, ya que están en la búsqueda de chicas entre los 11 y 16 años, para que formen parte de una nueva misión que les permitirá aprender y desarrollar sus talentos.
De acuerdo con la fundación, con este programa de india un segundo capítulo en la historia de “Ella Es Astronauta Costa Rica”, el cual tiene como objetivo fortalece los procesos educativos en STEAM (ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería, matemáticas y artes) en diferentes países de Centroamérica.
Según dio a conocer la fundación las inscripciones para este programa iniciaron este 1 de abril y se entenderá hasta el próximo 1 de mayo.
Las interesadas deben inscribirse en el siguiente enlace www.she-is.org, además, de cumplir ciertos requisitos.
¿Cuáles son los requisitos?
- Tener entre 11 y 16 años.
- No ser familiar en primer grado de consanguinidad de un servidor público de elección popular.
- La familia se debe encontrar en una situación de extrema pobreza, pobreza moderada o condición de vulnerabilidad demostrable.
- Recibir formación académica en una institución educativa pública.
- Demostrar excelente desempeño académico.
- Contar con disponibilidad de tiempo para cumplir con todas las clases y actividades.
- Firmar carta de compromiso.
- No haber participado en ninguna de las misiones presenciales del programa Ella Es Astronauta.
- Tener un tutor responsable que le preste el acompañamiento a la tripulante durante las actividades del programa en su fase virtual.
- Llenar el formulario de postulación de manera completa.
En cuanto a las seleccionadas deberán cumplir cuatro meses de clases virtuales con astronautas y otros expositores de alto impacto.
“Las tripulantes seleccionadas tendrán la oportunidad de participar en un programa educativo que comprende cuatro meses de clases virtuales sobre empoderamiento, liderazgo, emprendimiento social, habilidades STEAM, webinars con astronautas y otros expositores de alto impacto que han marcado el camino en diferentes campos”, agregó Nadia.
Asimismo, se dio a conocer que dicho programa terminará con una semana de inmersión académica en el Space Center NASA, donde la jóvenes tendrán actividades de robótica, programación, construcción de cohetes, organización de misiones, creación de hábitat lunar y charlas con expertos en dirección de vuelo y simulación de viajes al espacio.
