(Fotos y video) Llega a Costa Rica Zara Rutherford, la joven piloto que le da la vuelta al mundo
La belga de 19 años espera alcanzar un nuevo récord mundial.
Con un arco de agua impulsado por el personal del Benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos de Costa Rica fue recibida en el aeropuerto Tobías Bolaños, en Pavas, la piloto Zara Rutherford, quien a sus 19 años tiene el objetivo de convertirse en la mujer más joven en darle la vuelta al mundo en solitario a bordo de un avión ultraligero.
Zara llegó a suelo costarricense este martes minutos antes de las 9:00 a.m. proveniente del Aeropuerto Internacional Tocumen, en Panamá.
La piloto belga utiliza un avión de 325 kilos marca Shark UL (dos asientos), de fabricación eslovaca, el cual vuela a una velocidad de 260 kilómetros por hora y es propulsado por un motor Rotax de 100 caballos de fuerza.
Costa Rica es el país número 23 en el que aterriza y su visita fue patrocinada por la compañía costarricense Aerodiva, en el marco de la celebración del Bicentenario de la Independencia.
