(Fotos) De cinco vestiditos saldrá el estreno de “La Negrita” para el 1.° de agosto
Uno de los cinco vestiditos elegidos como finalistas por la Diócesis de Tilarán-Liberia, será la prenda que estrenará la imagen de Virgen de los Ángeles en la ceremonia de vestición del próximo jueves 1.° de agosto, que se realizará en el Santuario Nacional de la Basílica Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, en Cartago.
La patrona de Costa Rica lucirá el vestidito durante todo un año.
Este 2024 la Diócesis de Tilarán-Liberia fue la encargada de confeccionar los trajes, en alusión a los 200 años de la Anexión del Partido de Nicoya a Costa Rica.
Los fieles entregaron un total de 17 diseños, de ellos, cinco fueron seleccionados como finalistas.
Monseñor Manuel Eugenio Salazar Mora, obispo de la Diócesis de Tilarán-Liberia, presidió la selección de los trajes, el pasado 13 de julio, procedentes de diferentes parroquias de la provincia de Guanacaste y del cantón de Upala de Alajuela; territorios que comprenden la diócesis mencionada.
Los 17 trajes fueron medidos en una imagen, réplica exacta de La Negrita; dimensiones dadas a quienes participaron de esta gran muestra de fe. También, se cuidó que los trajes no contaran con abalorios que pudieran afectar la imagen original, hallada el 2 de agosto de 1635 (hace 388 años).
Algunos de los detalles de los 5 trajes seleccionados son: bordados de la bandera de Guanacaste; del mapa de la provincia pampera; del templo colonial de Nicoya; del mapa de Costa Rica con la verde provincia guanacasteca y uno más con el escudo del actual Obispo diocesano, Monseñor Salazar; quien no pudo evitar decir que le “encantaría tenerlo” para la réplica de La Negrita de su Casa Arzobispal, en Tilarán.
