El nombre de Costa Rica vuelve a sonar en España, pero esta vez de una manera muy diferente
Nuestro país se ganó el premio de “Destino Internacional Sostenible”.
Según la revista española “Viajar”, nuestro país fue escogido como “Destino Internacional Sostenible”, ubicándose como líder en esta categoría, esto debido a “la posibilidad de recorrer ocho reservas biológicas y ser un destino comprometido con la sostenibilidad”.
La jefa de promoción del Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT), Ireth Rodríguez, el modelo de desarrollo turístico sostenible de Costa Rica, nos distingue a nivel mundial.
“El modelo de desarrollo turístico sostenible que nos distingue a nivel mundial, nos permite ser reconocidos con este premio y nos compromete a seguir trabajando para ser el destino ideal para conectar con la naturaleza, un santuario sostenible que ofrece al turista experiencias únicas”, expresó Rodríguez.
El ICT por su parte, categoriza este premio como de vital importancia, ya que España es uno de los principales países cuyos turistas visitan Costa Rica.
