Dan último adiós a profesor que falleció mientras daba clases en Heredia
El profesor de Filosofía Roberto Cruz falleció frente a sus alumnos en un salón de clases del Liceo de Santa Bárbara de Heredia.
La comunidad educativa costarricense está de luto tras el sensible fallecimiento del profesor de Filosofía Roberto Cruz Murillo, de 63 años, quien falleció frente a sus alumnos en un salón de clases la tarde del pasado jueves 13 de abril.
El docente se encontraba impartiendo lecciones a un grupo de estudiantes de undécimo año, en un momento le solicitó a uno de los jóvenes que le ayudara a repartir unas hojas porque se sentía mal de salud.
Las honras fúnebres del profesor se realizaron la mañana de este sábado. Familiares, amigos, colegas y alumnos acompañaron el féretro hasta el atrio de la iglesia Corazón de Jesús, en Alajuela, donde le hicieron un responso y posteriormente sus restos fueron sepultados en el cementerio de la localidad.
El día de la tragedia
Erick Ovares, director del centro educativo, indicó a CRHoy.com que rápidamente evacuaron a los estudiantes del aula y llamaron a la Cruz Roja Costarricense. Los paramédicos de la benemérita institución le practicaron al profesor maniobras de reanimación cardiorrespiratoria (RCP) para posteriormente ser trasladado a un centro médico.
Al docente le restaban dos años para pensionarse.
