Colegio de Periodistas condena ataque a equipo de Repretel por seguidores de Rodrigo Chaves
“Es una agresión directa contra la prensa ante la observación pasiva de oficiales de la Fuerza Pública”, indicó la agrupación.
El Colegio de Periodistas de Costa Rica (Colper) se pronunció tras el ataque que sufrió un equipo del noticiero de Repretel, NC Once, por parte de seguidores del presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, la mañana de este lunes a las afueras de la Asamblea Legislativa.
Los partidarios de Chaves se reunieron en ese lugar para protestar en contra de las fracciones legislativas que impulsan el resello del proyecto de ley para salir de la lista gris de la Unión Europea.
“Es una agresión directa contra la prensa, ante la observación pasiva de oficiales de la Fuerza Pública. Así lo evidenció un video que es el testigo de una violencia física que se suma ahora a la violencia verbal experimentada por la prensa de Costa Rica durante el último año. Son, nuevamente, las mismas frases denigrantes que se escuchan en posteos anónimos en las redes sociales y que han justificado algunos miembros del equipo de Gobierno y en Casa Presidencial”, agrega el documento.
El Colegio hizo un llamado al Gobierno para que tome acción y no permita más ataques a la prensa.
Según informó CRHoy.com la convocatoria a esta manifestación fue realizada por Yendry Quirós, una partidaria de Chaves quien hace unos meses fue denunciada por la Sala IV por vandalizar sus instalaciones en Sabana Sur.
