CCSS lamenta pérdida de 142 cirugías por huelga
“Esto es muy grave cuando la institución está tratando de avanzar en mejorar la respuesta de las listas de espera”, comentó la presidenta de la Caja, Marta Esquivel.
La presidenta ejecutiva de la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS), Marta Eugenia Esquivel Rodríguez, aseguró, la tarde de este jueves, que es lamentable que se hayan dejado de realizar al menos 142 cirugías que estaban citadas para este día en diversos hospitales por motivo de la huelga que un grupo de sindicatos convocó.
La jerarca fue enfática en que esto es realmente grave en momentos en que la institución está tratando de avanzar en mejorar la respuesta a las listas de espera.
“La Caja, gerencias y Presidencia Ejecutiva estamos buscando todas las alternativas que nos permitan resolver a la brevedad la situación de estas personas”, agregó Esquivel Rodríguez.
A las dos de la tarde se contabilizaban 142 cirugías programadas que debieron ser suspendidas según el siguiente detalle: 29 en el Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia, 14 en el México, 23 en el San Juan de Dios, 17 en el Nacional de Niños, 12 en el San Vicente de Paul, 16 en el Maximiliano Peralta, 10 en el San Rafael y 21 en el Monseñor Víctor Manuel Sanabria.
