Youtuber terminó baleado tras pesada broma en un centro comercial
Alan Colie reaccionó a los acosos de Tanner Cook disparándole en el pecho y provocando el caos al interior de un centro comercial en Virginia.
Un tribunal absolvió a un repartidor de delivery que le disparó a un YouTuber en un centro comercial de Washington, Virginia, en Estados Unidos.
El incidente se registró en el patio de comidas del Dulles Town Center, el 2 de abril del 2023, cuando Tanner Cook (21) estaba acosando al repartidor, siguiéndolo mientras reproducía un audio extraño desde su teléfono.
Sin embargo, Colie terminó sacando un arma de fuego y le disparó a Cook en la parte inferior izquierda del pecho, desatando el pánico entre los visitantes del centro comercial, quienes comenzaron a huir de la zona temiendo que fuera un tiroteo masivo.
De acuerdo a lo recogido por Fox 5, Alan Colie fue puesto a disposición de la justicia por sus actos.
Colie se declaró inocente, afirmando que actuaba en defensa propia.
El pasado jueves, el veredicto se dio a conocer luego de unas cinco horas de deliberación, instancia en la que precisaron que el jurado estaba dividido en términos de que el acusado actuó en defensa propia.
El abogado defensor de Collie, Adam Pouilliard, señaló que la condena por el cargo de armas de fuego era incompatible con la ley, puesto que la absolución figuraba por motivos de defensa propia, por lo que pidió al juez que anule la condena. Por lo mismo, se expondrán dichos argumentos en una audiencia fijada para noviembre.
Por otra parte, Alan Colie ha permanecido bajo custodia desde su arresto en abril tras el baleo al YouTuber y permanecerá encarcelado.
