X (Twitter): confirman incorporación de llamadas y videollamadas
X (Twitter) incorporará la posibilida de realizar videollamadas. Funciones que no requerirán un número de teléfono del usuario, aseguró Elon Musk.
La red social X (antigua Twitter) incorporará próximamente las llamadas y videollamadas, una novedad que la convertirá en una «agenda de direcciones global» y que no requerirá el número de teléfono del usuario.

El dueño de X, Elon Musk, ha confirmado este jueves la llegada de las llamadas y videollamadas a la red social.
Estas llamadas y videollamadas estarán disponibles en iOS y Android y en ordenadores Mac y Windows, y no requerirán el número de teléfono de los usuarios.
La intención es que X se convierta en «la agenda de direcciones global efectiva», como ha apuntado Musk en X.

X (Twitter): llamadas no serán encriptadas en un comienzo
Musk también señaló que en un comienzo las llamadas por X (Twitter) no serán encriptadas, pero que con el tiempo «agregaremos la capacidad de activar o desactivar el cifrado dinámicamente».
«Necesariamente, existe un ligero retraso en el cifrado. La mayoría de las veces, el cifrado no es importante y la calidad de la llamada es mejor», agregó.
Cabe recordar que en su día, el empresario destacó que estas llamadas y videollamadas estarían encriptadas, para que «los usuarios se puedan comunicar sin preocuparse por su privacidad», y destacó el sistema de la aplicación Signal, aunque esta última sí requiere compartir el número de teléfono para comenzar a utilizarse.
